There was an earthquake of 7.6, maximum seismic intensity that occurred in the Noto region of Ishikawa Prefecture at around 4:10 p.m. on January 1, 2024. The earthquake also caused a tsunami. Since then, aftershocks have continued.

Our organization is currently accepting donations to help support those affected by the disaster who are forced to live as evacuees at this time.

The organization was able to establish a support base with the cooperation of a Christian church in Kanazawa City. We are also collaborating with Hokuriku Gakuin in Kanazawa City. From this base, we will deliver support to disaster victims. We will carry out this activity in cooperation with other organizations from areas affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake and from all over the country, from Hokkaido to Kyushu, to bring together their areas of expertise.

What we think is important is to move forward while connecting with people and organizations who have been affected by the disaster themselves and who are working for the disaster victims.  We mainly support 600 people in three facilities for the elderly, one children’s home, and one facility for the severely disabled.

We seek your understanding, cooperation, and support. thank you!
